Fall pickup of leaves will begin October 17th through November 18th (weather permitting). Please do not wait until the last day to rake your leaves to the curb!!! You do not have to bag leaves in the fall. Please rake the leaves to the curb and the village will clean them up. Brush pickup (Fall pickup): All tree butts must face the street and be stacked in an orderly fashion. If brush piles are stacked improperly, village employees will not pick them up. Brush will be chipped on the 15th of each month consecutively until November 15th. Also, if you cut a large tree on private property, it is your responsibility to clean it up. *  We prefer brush to be placed next to curb/street no more than 48 hours prior to the 15th of the month, with an exception if the 15th  falls on a weekend. REMINDER: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP YOUR YARD TRASH FREE AND ALSO TO KEEP YOUR SIDEWALKS SHOVELED!!! (Please note that the days for Sheridan have changed.)
